The reason I started this blog was to inform people of Real Estate, and of the Obvious advantages and avoidable pitfalls of buying and selling Real Estate. I have worked all throughout Indiana as a Realtor but focus mainly in Indianapolis and the surrounding areas.
By definition, my profession is that I am a Realtor, but seldom will I call myself this. I act more as a Real Estate consultant/advisor and tend to focus more on customer service than on making a sale. I do this because I have encountered way too many salespeople in my life that don't listen to my concerns or wishes and push,push push until they get a sale.
This trait is something that I despise and it will probably be a frequent topic on these blogs...if you are a pushy salesperson then you may not want to read these blogs =)
A few questions I ask myself when anyone is working with a pushy salesperson is this.... Why would you buy something from someone pushing you to make a decision that THEY will make money on? Whose money is it? Yours or theirs? Exactly! Your money, your decision! So choose someone that doesn't push!
I hope that my blogs will be helpful to those who are interested in learning what to look for and what to watch out for. For now, I am off to bed...I have a home inspection tomorrow.
